Burton Weinstein - Co-Founder

Burton Weinstein is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Cedarview Capital Management LP, an alternative investment firm established in 2004. Mr. Weinstein is the Portfolio Manager of Cedarview Opportunities Master Fund and Cedarview Liquid Short Duration Fund. Mr. Weinstein has a documented track record that spans over 20 years. Prior to co-establishing Cedarview in 2004, Mr. Weinstein served as a portfolio manager for four years (2000 to 2004) at Aviary Capital, managing a $120 million credit fund. In addition, he advised a wealthy U.S. family, who was the largest investor in the fund, in other investment matters. Previously, he worked at Gabriel Capital, a $1 billion New York-based hedge fund where he concentrated on distressed and event-driven investing and risk arbitrage from 1998 to 2000. From 1991 to 1998, Mr. Weinstein was a portfolio manager at Loews Corporation, where he helped manage $2 billion in high-yield and distressed securities as well as equities. From 1990–1991, he worked at Smith Barney Asset Management, now Palisade Capital, as a senior high-yield analyst and at IBJ Schroder bank from 1988–1990 as a credit analyst where he went through IBJ’s rigorous credit training program. Mr. Weinstein holds a B.S. in Accounting from Yeshiva University and an M.B.A. in Finance from N.Y.U. Stern School of Business and received his CPA designation in 1988 after working for 3 years in public accounting.

Steve Wind - Senior Investment Analyst, Risk Manager & Chief Compliance Officer

Steve Wind is a Senior Investment Analyst at Cedarview Capital Management, where he has worked in that capacity since 2005. Mr. Wind is also Cedarview’s Risk Manager & Chief Compliance Officer. Mr. Wind has covered an array of industries and he also designed the firm’s risk management systems. Prior to joining Cedarview, Mr. Wind spent four years at Bear, Stearns & Co. (2000 to 2004), working in the Loan Portfolio Management Group, where he was responsible for financial analysis and credit monitoring of bank loans underwritten and owned by Bear Stearns’ Investment Banking Division. During his tenure there, he also focused on analyzing corporate credits and performed fundamental research and risk assessments on publicly traded equities and private placements. He completed the formal two-year Investment Banking and Risk Management analyst training program at Bear Stearns & Co. Mr. Wind graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000 with a B.A. in Economics.

Bo Wang - Senior Analyst

Bo joined Cedarview in 2023 and is currently a Research Analyst on the investment team. Prior to joining Cedarview, Bo was a Vice President in the structured lending group at BNP Paribas, covering the aviation sector. Bo earned a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Columbia University Business School.

Nathan Dweck – Senior Trader

Nathan joined Cedarview in June 2021. He is responsible for trading bank loans and bonds firmwide. Prior to joining Cedarview, Mr. Dweck worked at Hillmark Capital Management, a CLO manager with $2 billion in peak AUM. From 2006-2017 he served as a senior credit analyst managing a ~$300 million portfolio of assets in the packaging, retail, and gaming sectors. He was responsible for ramping two “print and sprint” CLO portfolios as well as managing those portfolios. Mr. Dweck graduated Magna Cum Laude from Bernard M. Baruch College in 2001.

Joseph Sheinman - CPA, CFO- Consultant

From 2006-2009 Joseph Sheinman served as the Controller for Cedarview Capital Management. Since 2009, Mr. Sheinman has acted as the CFO-Consultantof Cedarview Capital Management pursuant to a consultant contract. Prior to this, Mr. Sheinman was a Senior Accountant at RSM McGladrey (“RSM”)/Goldstein Golub Kessler LLP (“GGK”) from 2004 to 2006 where he prepared and reviewed audits and schedule K-1s for mid-sized companies in the financial services industry, with a focus on broker dealers and hedge funds. Previously, Mr. Sheinman was an Accountant and Auditor with ACS Unclaimed Property Clearinghouse (2001-2003), Ernst & Young (2000-2001), and Mahoney, Cohen & Co (1997-2000). Mr. Sheinman holds a B.A. in Accounting from Queens College and received his CPA license in 1999.

Yael Goldberg – Controller

Yael Goldberg is the Controller of Cedarview Capital Management, where she has worked in that capacity since 2007. Prior to joining Cedarview, Ms. Goldberg was a Tax Accountant at BISYS-RK Alternative Investment Services, a hedge fund administration firm from 2006 to 2007.
Ms. Goldberg holds a B.S. in Accounting from Rutgers University.

Tzvi Teitelbaum – Head of Operations

Tzvi joined Cedarview as an Trading Assistant in April 2017 and was promoted to Head of Operations in 2022. Tzvi graduated from Touro College with a B.S. in Finance and minor in Computer Science.
